"A Service of Light and Hope" to be held Tuesday, October 3

In honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Children’s Mercy will host a Service of Light and Hope

2, separate services will feature a lighting recognition unique to each hospital location. The evening will be filled with light and hope, with the goal of shining the light on domestic violence, an issue that so often is engulfed in darkness.

The services will be held outdoors on Tuesday, Oct. 3, at 7:30 p.m. 

Adele Hall Campus (2401 Gillham Road, Kansas City, Mo. 64108) – Please gather on the hillside across the street from the hospital's main entrance.

Children’s Mercy Hospital Kansas (5808 W. 110th St., Overland Park, Ks. 66211) – Please gather by main entrance on north side of building.

All are welcome to join at whichever location you prefer.

The service will be about 20 minutes.
