Inspiring Kansas City to Give Mercy

Built around powerful patient stories, the new Give Mercy campaign will be seen through December on billboards, in a TV spot telling Kit’s story, on our website (givemercykc.org) and on social media (#GiveMercyKC). The campaign is designed to raise community awareness that Children’s Mercy relies on community support.

Local companies have already joined the effort. On Giving Tuesday, Talon Concrete stopped by the hospital with the first of four Give Mercy-branded trucks that it will have on the road and in service for the next two years.

“Talon is excited and looks forward to the ‘buzz’ we can help contribute to your Give Mercy campaign,” said Dale Eason, president and CEO of Talon Concrete and Aggregates, LLC. “We are thankful that we took an idea to you, and we were allowed to make it happen. We appreciate the opportunity to partner with an outstanding institution like Children’s Mercy.”

The bright orange and blue truck arrived on a day where employees wore Give Love T-shirts made by Charlie Hustle.

In another corporate partnership connected to the campaign, The Roasterie will soon introduce a new “Drink Coffee. Give Mercy.” coffee blend.
