Children's Mercy (Kansas City, Mo.). The Ward Family Heart Center at Children's Mercy Kansas City boasts a bed count of 390, including the dedicated 24-bed Haverty Family Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. The department features 35 cardiologists, four cardiothoracic surgeons, 37 advanced practice providers, and seven fellows.
