Big Slick 2015: Riggle, Rudd, Sudeikis, Koechner, Stonestreet return June 19-20 to support Children's Mercy

The boys are back in town. Actors Rob Riggle, Paul Rudd, Jason Sudeikis, David Koechner and Eric Stonestreet return to Kansas City the weekend of June 19, 2015 to kick off the biggest Big Slick Celebrity Weekend yet, including - new to 2015 - a double header on the field at Royals' Kauffman Stadium. The Kansas and Missouri natives will bring with them a gathering of celebrity friends, as well as one-of-a-kind items for public auction, all to help Big Slick's charity beneficiary, the Cancer Center at Children's Mercy Kansas City.

Big Slick started in 2010 as a celebrity poker tournament and party hosted by Riggle, Rudd and Sudeikis. Koechner and Stonestreet joined as co-hosts in 2014. Over the past five years, celebrity friends such as Will Ferrell, Jon Hamm, Olivia Wilde, Johnny Knoxville, Will Forte, Aisha Tyler, Weird Al Yankovic, James Marsden and Nick Kroll have attended Big Slick and helped to raise more than $2.2 million for Children's Mercy. Leading up to this year's events, celebrity guests will be announced via the Big Slick social media accounts.

Big Slick 2015 will take place in Kansas City on Friday, June 19, and Saturday, June 20, and feature three core events. Celebrity attendees will participate in the Big Slick Celebrity Classic softball game at Kauffman Stadium, the Big Slick Celebrity Bowl bowling tournament and the Big Slick Celebrity Party & Auction.

The Big Slick Celebrity Classic softball game will take place on the main field at Kauffman Stadium (1 Royal Way, Kansas City, MO) at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, June 19, prior to the Kansas City Royals playing the Boston Red Sox at 7:10 p.m. VIP tickets to the Big Slick Celebrity Classic - including a pre-game tailgate or preferred seating and celebrity meet-and-greet (access dependent on ticket level purchased) - are available online at www.bigslickkc.org.

Anyone holding a general game ticket for the Royals-Red Sox match-up ($5 of each ticket purchase supports Big Slick) is also invited to attend the Celebrity Classic; gates open at 4:30 p.m.

The Big Slick Celebrity Bowl bowling tournament will be held at Pinstripes Bowling | Bocce | Bistro located at Prairiefire (13500 Nall Avenue, Overland Park, KS) at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 20; doors open at 10 a.m. Tickets are available for purchase online at www.bigslickkc.org.

The public is invited to come watch celebrity red carpet arrivals outside Pinstripes beginning at 10am. Space is limited.

The Big Slick Celebrity Party & Auction is the main event of the weekend and will be hosted at the Arvest Bank Theatre at The Midland (1228 Main St, Kansas City, MO) at 8:15 p.m. on Saturday, June 20. The party will feature games, laughs and one-of-a-kind auction items (previous years' items have included set visits to "Modern Family," "Brooklyn 99" and "Anchorman 2;" and the premieres of "Ant-Man," "Horrible Bosses 2" and "Dumb and Dumber To"). Tickets, tables and VIP packages are available for purchase online at www.bigslickkc.org.

Supporters outside of Kansas City or unable to attend Celebrity Weekend can still support the cause online through underwriting opportunities and the Big Slick Crowdrise campaign. Online via Crowdrise (www.crowdrise.com/bigslick), fans can support the cause and also fuel some friendly competition by donating to one of the five hosts' teams (those who donate a minimum of $100 will receive a limited edition Big Slick t-shirt from Kansas City designer, Charlie Hustle). Team Rudd is the reigning 2014 Crowdrise campaign champ. However, no matter which host comes out on top, it's the kids at Children's Mercy who win!
