Children's Mercy Celebrates Opening of New Wichita Multispecialty Outpatient Clinic
Children’s Mercy is proud to open its new 18,000-square-foot multispecialty outpatient clinic in Wichita, making it easier for children and families to receive expert, coordinated care close to home while spending less time navigating appointments and more time focused on their child’s health and well-being. A ribbon cutting ceremony and community open house to celebrate the opening will take place on Tuesday, July 14.
Children’s Mercy has been caring for children for 129 years, and since 2012, its Wichita location has served more than 10,000 patients across the region. The new free-standing clinic reflects an ongoing commitment to delivering compassionate, family-centered care where and when it’s needed.
Located at North Greenwich Road and East 29th Street N, the new clinic represents a $18.3 million investment and is designed to optimize collaboration among care teams, enhance the patient experience and expand access to world-class pediatric care. luding cardiology, endocrinology and nephrology. With 30 exam rooms, on-site lab and imaging and 16 providers across 11 specialties, the clinic is expected to deliver more than 16,000 visits annually, expanding access to care for more children.
