Children's Mercy Hospital Recognized as One of the Best by U.S. News and World Report for Seventh Year in a item
Those pediatric specialties include: nephrology, cancer, diabetes and endocrinology, gastroenterology, neonatology, neurology and neurosurgery, orthopedics, pulmonology and urology. This year, U.S. News surveyed 183 pediatric centers. The current rankings are based on an extensive analysis of clinical and operational data collected directly from a survey of children's hospitals. That data is combined with the results from a reputational survey of board-certified pediatric specialists who answered where they would send their sickest patients, as well as supplemental information from resources such as the National Cancer Institute.
