Dr. Tiffany Willis honored with 2022 KC Chamber of Commerce ACE Award

Dr. Tiffany WillisTiffany Willis, PsyD, a neonatal psychologist in the Division of Developmental and Behavioral Health and Associate Professor of Pediatrics, University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine, was selected as an Ace Award Honoree at the 2022 Power of Diversity Breakfast presented by the KC Chamber of Commerce and the Diverse Business Committee. Dr. Willis received this award to recognize the extraordinary Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) and advocacy work that she does both within Children’s Mercy and in our community.

Dr. Willis currently serves as a clinical psychologist for Neonatology, where she works with families who have experienced trauma in the perinatal or neonatal period. She is known both regionally and nationally for her expertise in Infant Mental Health, Trauma Informed Care and advancing Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and has provided lectures, trainings and staff support across various organizations and conferences.

In 2019 Dr. Willis was inducted into the KC Black Achievers Society and received the Consensus KC Civility Award for her commitment to the community. Dr. Willis spends her free time volunteering with Missouri’s Black Health Care Coalition and is a big sister in the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Kansas City program in addition to serving on their Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (JEDI) board.
