Faces of Kansas City: 6-month-old has been a fighter since before she was born

Little Piper Jarvis is barely six months old, but had already made her mark on the world as a fighter.

She's been fighting to live even before she was born.

"Piper's unique. If you say, â€˜How have other babies like Piper done?' We can't say because we haven't had a baby like Piper," said Dr. Joshua Petrikin, a neonatologist at Children's Mercy Hospital.
