The number of transgender children or those diagnosed with gender dysphoria is increasing by 15 percent annually. Dr. Jill Jacobson (Children's Mercy pediatric endocrinologist) explained her research on how to diagnosis the condition, terminology within the transgender community and the stages of gender variance.
