Children’s Mercy welcomed a new chief compliance officer and vice president.
Abby Jackson joins the Kansas City-based pediatric hospital from Southwestern Health Resources, a network formed by UT Southwestern Medical Center and Texas Health Resources. Jackson was chief compliance officer for the network.
She will move to the metro from Texas, where she has spent most of her career. Jackson worked in various leadership roles at UT Southwestern Medical Center for six years. Before that, she worked in health care consulting roles at the business consulting firm Protiviti for more than four years.
“Abby’s deep expertise in compliance and privacy, coupled with her leadership in complex healthcare environments, strengthens our commitment to provide exceptional care for children and families, and the communities we serve,” Children's Mercy said in a statement to the Kansas City Business Journal.
