Kansas City Live: Children’s Mercy’s first heart transplant recipient shares her story

The KC Heart and Stroke Walk is coming up, and with that, we’re talking to inspiring survivors who are hoping to share their stories with the community. Today we’re joined by Hannah Mountz and her mother, Renita Mountz. Four years ago, Hannah was the first heart transplant recipient at Children’s Mercy Hospital. You can join her and other survivors this Saturday, June 15 at the Heart and Stroke Walk, which benefits the American Heart Association.
