KMBC 9: 36 babies due to nurses in Children’s Mercy Intensive Care Nursery

From caring for others to caring for their own, nurses in the Intensive Care Nursery at Children’s Mercy are celebrating a massive baby boom.

In a post to the hospital’s Facebook page, officials said 36 babies are expected this year to nurses in the Children’s Mercy Intensive Care Nursery.

“Our Intensive Care Nursery nurses spend their days and nights with little ones from across the Midwest who need the most advanced care,” the post said. “They've also had a baby boom of their own!”
