Springfield Daily Citizen: O'Reilly family provides lead gift for new pediatric clinic at Mercy
By Jeff Kessinger
Members of the O’Reilly family have provided the lead donation for the new Children’s Mercy With Mercy Pediatric Clinic, to be built on Mercy’s south Springfield campus in Ozark.
The donation comes from the families of Charlie and Mary Beth O’Reilly, David and Stacey O’Reilly, Larry and Anya O’Reilly, and Rosalie and Tal O’Reilly Wooten.
“When we heard about Mercy’s and Children’s Mercy’s effort to enhance pediatric care for kids across southwest Missouri, we knew we wanted to be involved and help make a generational change for kids in our community,” Rosalie O’Reilly Wooten said in a press release. “This clinic will make it easier for kids to access a range of specialists, and its design and functionality will be built around their needs.
“This is what makes all of Children’s Mercy clinics and hospitals so unique. They’re truly built for kids, and we can’t wait for that dedication and expertise to come to Springfield.”
Plans for the new pediatric clinic were announced Nov. 19, and work on the site is scheduled to begin this month.
