The (Big Slick) Boys Are Back In Town
Kansas City, Mo. - June 3, 2013 - Tickets are now available for the fourth annual Big Slick Celebrity Poker Tournament and Party, hosted in Kansas City by local celebrities, Rob Riggle, Paul Rudd and Jason Sudeikis. Get your tickets now at www.bigslickkc.org.
The weekend of laughs with Kansas City's own funnymen starts July 19 and includes three Big Slick celebrity events: the Wiffle Ball Game, the Texas Hold'em Poker Tournament and the Party & Auction. All proceeds from the weekend's Poker Tournament and Party & Auction will support the Children's Mercy Hospital Cancer Center, whose mission is to help improve the physical and emotional well-being of children with cancer and their families.
The Celebrity Wiffle Ball Game takes place at the Little K at Kauffman Stadium starting at 5:30 p.m., prior to the Kansas City Royals playing the Detroit Tigers on July 19. Anyone holding a game ticket for the Royals-Tigers match-up may attend the wiffle ball game. Royals tickets are available at www.royals.com.
The Big Slick Celebrity Texas Hold'em Poker Tournament, presented by Harrah's North Kansas City and The Caesars Foundation, will be held at Harrah's Kansas City on the morning of July 20. A seat to participate in the Poker Tournament is $500.
The Big Slick Celebrity Party & Auction, presented by Liberty Fruit Company Golf Tournament, is the main event of the weekend, featuring music, comedy and one-of-a-kind auction items. Hosted at the Midland Theatre on July 20, tickets range from $75 to $1,000. There are a limited number of individual VIP Party passes for $1,000. All tickets are available now at www.bigslickkc.org.
