Whiteman Elementary students donate relief sculpture to Children's Mercy

After agreeing to work on the project, students worked in teams and began researching famous artists using Apple iPads, experimenting with different color schemes and a viable plan.

Whiteman Elementary teacher Sarah Willard received an email from Megan Stock, Assistant Director of Philanthropic Community Engagement, in early August stating the hospital's Education Department was interested in obtaining a relief sculpture for the officeStudents were required to promote their ideas by doing an oral presentation in front of classmates.
