Wichita Business Journal: Children's Mercy opens $18.3M outpatient pediatric clinic in northeast Wichita

Children's Mercy's first standalone clinic in Wichita is now open in a move that expands regional pediatric specialty healthcare.

The 18,000 square-foot outpatient clinic, located on Greenwich Road near 29th Street, builds on the Kansas City-based pediatric health system's 14-year presence in Wichita. Children's Mercy will vacate its clinic at the Wesley Medical Arts building, where it has had a presence since 2012, and move its pediatric specialist practice to the new clinic.

President of regional operations Amy Fallon said the multi-specialty clinic, which staffs 16 medical providers across 11 specialties, aims to expand access to pediatric care in Wichita and the larger region, and reduce the need for travel to Kansas City for specialized care at Children's Mercy's flagship pediatric hospital.
